PAK TO SUFFER MORE INSURGENCY IF NOT READY FOR PEACE IN AFGHANISTAN

09 Oct 2017/Monday

As per top secret reports, after the recent visit of Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, COAS, Pak to Afghanistan , Mohammad Ashraf Ghani held consultative meeting with senior officials, politicians, jihadi leaders, lawmakers and other experts, to discuss mainly how to proceed ahead with peace process when he travels to Pakistan at the invitation of Pak COAS. Afghanistan has been blamed to have fueled insurgency in Pakistan by Pak Army. Report further added that recently in an another official meeting of the country’s lawmakers, Afghan President was advised not to visit Pakistan , as the offer by Pak COAS was against diplomatic norms and that Pakistan was not honest in its commitment to Afghanistan . Afghan President was also advised that Pakistan should now realize the fact that, peace in Afghanistan without support by Pakistan would lead to no where. It was also emphasized that, Pakistan should first embark on trust building with the international community, particularly the US and secondly help in both nations enjoy peaceful lives along borders of both the countries, if it was serious about peace. This has put Pakistan government in a bind as it can not find the way out of the mess created by Pak COAS. This has led to heightened tension between Army and elected government of Pakistan
