MALEGAON: ISI EXPOSED

21 Aug 2017/Monday

A bench of Justices R K Agrawal and A M Sapre said they are setting aside the Bombay High Court order by which the bail was denied. On August 17, Purohit had told the apex court that he has been caught in the “political crossfire” and languishing in jail for nine years.

Purohit had earlier pleaded that he had identified Abu Azmi, Samajwadi Party’s controversial leader in Mumbai running a fake currency racket with involvement of several politicians, government officials, businessmen and local policemen. Senior lawyer, Harish Salve, appearing for Lieutenant Colonel Purohit told the court that he did not want to be discharged from the case at present, but for the interest of justice, wanted an interim bail. Purohit and Pragya were arrested in 2008, however Pragya was granted bail by the High Court. Purohit had challenged the grounds of granting bail to Pragya and said that same were also applicable to him.

Viewpoint:

The timeline of events in the Malegaon blast, exposes the classic example of politicizing in the name of religion to spread terrorism. This propaganda of the Hindu terror theory, is backed by ISI, Pakistan, trying to derail internal agencies fighting terrorism and spread communal terrorism.
