Home » HIZB WARNS STUDENTS, ATTENDING I-DAY FUNCTIONS
Posters attributed to militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen today asked the parents not to allow their wards to participate in Independence Day functions on August 15. The posters were pasted in Jama Masjid Shopian.
The Hizb in the posters said that “India is using Kashmir educational institutes to show world that everything is normal in Kashmir”.
The outfit said asked parents to “foil Indian conspiracies” by not letting their children to become part of any Independence Day function. “Then you should not complain to us about your wards’ innocence,” the outfit warned.
The Hizb also warned heads of educational institutes of dire consequences if they became part of any police or army function ahead of I-Day. Further, the poster reads, the Hizb also warned teachers to stay away from the functions of August 15.
Every year the militant organisation in the valley gives call to its masses to desist from various National Day Celebrations. If the militant’s call were so effective then there would not have been any requirement of issuing fresh threats. These call thus are self- defeating and goes to prove that militants in the valley are fighting a loosing battle.
